Message	He got a stock j-spec TT engine (complete with turbos), tranny, and ECU crated in from Japan. A local Nissan/Datsun independant shop did the swap for him. He didn't have a lot of choice of where to go, because other than the three Nissan dealerships here, these guys are the only other shop that "specializes" in Nissan/Datsun in this city. What Mike was trying to explain (or he mentioned in a previous post) is that the j-spec TT ecu that came with his TT engine did not appear to work when installed.
